Membership

There are three types of membership defined in the constitution for all P&F Associations. These are:

Ordinary Members

All parents of children enrolled at your school are automatically ordinary members of the school P&F Association. This includes carers and other adults who are in parenting roles for children at the school.

Ex-officio

The Principal and Parish Priest are ex-officio members with full voting rights.

Friends

‘Friends’ are those who are not eligible to be ordinary members but have been officially admitted as friends by a vote at a P&F meeting. Friends can vote on all matters except elections of the Executive.
P&F associations must keep a list of names of ‘friends’ and review it each year.
